My name is Andrew Rikke, and my manager who also happens to be my wife is Madalynn Rikke. It all started when I was 16 years old and got my first car, a Honda. I loved working on it and making it insanely fast. My dad also raced in the SPEC-E46 group, so I was raised around racing and helping him build his race cars, which have now gone on to compete a NASA Championship event.

Eventually, around the age of 17 or 18, I started to venture into the world of diesel. I bought my first truck a 6.0 Power Stroke, and decided I was going to build it, learning every step of the way. After falling in love with the truck and with the diesel performance world, I dove in deeper. I spent time researching, talking to technicians and other shop owners, and realized this is it..

That’s when I decided I wanted to open my own diesel shop striving to do only the best. Using only the highest quality parts and delivering top-tier workmanship. At around 18 or 19, I started saving to build my own place. After a lot of hard work and late nights, we finally saw the dream coming to life. The shop was finished.

We began choosing a name originally going with “Third Coast Performance” but After brainstorming a bunch of names, we finally landed on **DropTine diesel performance**, combining two things I love: big ass bucks and diesel trucks.

Now, after more than five years of blood, sweat, and tears, we’re proud to be officially launching.
